Our Evolution: Project Ground Truth
Phase I: The Geospatial Foundation
Our group's foundational work began with a sophisticated graphics system designed to represent end-user fixed wireless communication devices geographically.
We developed the capability to generate interactive maps that visualize device performance in real-time. This era established service areas for customers without ‘rolling a truck’ to survey a customers location.
Truth of Intent
Phase II: Intelligent Data Optimization
As our focus shifted toward the data moving through these networks, we pioneered computer-implemented methods for interpreting weblogs for user intent .
This research addressed the challenge of high-volume data processing by creating a system that categorizes web traffic based on domain type and specific sub-domains. Filtering out redundant references and unnecessary extensions (like JPEGs or audio files), analysis time was optimized and the accuracy of device usage profiles was dramatically improved,.
This unlocked more targeted and efficient data interpretation. Modern algorithms are built on this foundation.
Identifying Dependencies
Phase III: Infrastructure Integrity & Auditing
Our next breakthrough integrated mapping and filtering expertise into a holistic infrastructure analysis system.
Focused on identifying the "single source of truth" within complex information technology environments by determining relationships between components based on overlapping telemetry data.
This system not only maps dependencies—identifying which servers "depend on" or "communicate with" others—but also provides a continuous auditing of relationship drift to track modifications and verify infrastructure integrity.
